Glacier National Park Engagement Session

I still remember the first time I drove on the famous Going-to-the-Sun-Road. My stomach flipped and my heart started to beat faster, my eyes filled with tears and I felt like I couldn’t take a deep breath. The views are so stunning that you can hardly believe a place like Glacier National Park exists in real life. The mountain peaks are so high and you are driving so close to the edge of the road as other vehicles pass by you only inches away. The feeling of pure wonder takes over with each turn in the road and you start to feel like you might never be able to leave this magical place. I know this all might sound dramatic but unless you have experienced this road and park for yourself, I don't think you’ll be able to convince me that I’m being over the top! Since our first experience, Kyle and I have returned to Glacier National Park many times. We are always amazed by the beauty of this park and the wildlife. We now have some favorite spots in the park that we were so happy to share with Michelle and Justin! It was their first trip to Glacier National for their adventure engagement session and we all had a blast. Seeing their faces light up as they drove over Going-to-the-Sun-Road was such an amazing experience! We started their session at Lake McDonald and ended at Logan Pass. During their session, we saw a baby and mother mountain goat, a herd of bighorn sheep, some adorable marmots, a buck in velvet. Just when we thought the night couldn’t get any better, Michelle and Justin were leaving their session and got to see a grizzly!
